As the French market leader, the THEBAULT Group is leveraging its expertise in veneer peeling and its position as France’s leading plywood manufacturer to establish the first LVL plant in France and Western Europe.
Plywood and LVL are materials made from wood veneers, known as plies, obtained by peeling logs. The group processes four types of wood in its French factories: okoumé, poplar, maritime pine, and silver fir. The plies are then glued together crosswise to make strong, technical plywood panels, or parallel to each other to make LVL, large panels, and beams.
