WoodScanner has been recognised for its marketing prowess by designing its digital platform to operate in a space that is drastically untapped within the timber industry – online comparison commerce.
It also built strong industry relationships, and demonstrated this by committing to contribute 5% of all membership fees from TTF members, to the Timber Trade Benevolent Society.
The marketing challenge went beyond generating brand awareness and community building. The task was to develop WoodScanner into an international platform allowing the timber buying and selling community to increase sales, expand market visibility and establish lasting relationships. The fluid nature of the site, that under promises and over delivers, will continue to evolve with new offerings and messages as the platform matures.
