The Chilean forestry industry is strongly oriented towards international trade. Our country has a forestry model that responds to the demands and challenges of the 21st century, a sustainable model that contributes between 2% and 3% to the national GDP, and between 8 and 10% of the income from exports in the last decades. The range of products offered by Chile ranges from small parts and stationery to prefabricated houses, going through boards, panels, pallets, floors, and doors, among others. The main products exported are chemical pulp, sawn wood, mouldings, boards, and sheets. The supply of forest products reaches more than 120 markets around the world. Chile has an internationally recognized offer, with 70% of certified productive forests, that is 30% above the world average. Forest certification guarantees the competitiveness and differentiation of our exportable offer.
